There are a number of services which are not covered by the NHS, which we can offer.  These include:

As a patient of Strathmore Medical Practice, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to contact the surgery to get your results and to arrange further reviews that maybe required.

Blood Tests Results usually take 2 -3days to process, however some may take up to 1 week and patients will need to contact reception after 3 pm to gain access to the results. 

Histology Results usually take 4-5 weeks to process, and patients will need to contact reception after 3 pm to gain access to the result.

Radiology reports usually take 7-10 days to process, and patients will need to contact reception after 3 pm to gain access to result.

If a clinician has referred you to Wrexham Maelor Hospital for further care, specialist input or investigations following a recent consultation, you will need to contact the Patient Access and Booking Centre ( PABC ) on 03000 8577 77 regarding time scales and triaging queries if they have not been contacted within a timely manner (2-3 weeks).

If you have been referred to an alternative hospital and have not received a response in a timely manner(2-3 weeks) , please contact Reception .

 

Unfortunately , we are unable to review any results which have been requested by another health care provider , this includes any secondary care requests. 

 

 

If you decide to seek any private medical care, please be aware that the surgery WILL NOT be able to facilitate any continued care, including ECG's, Blood Test Requests, Blood Pressure Monitoring and the  transfer of a private prescription to an NHS prescription.
