Home Visits are for completely housebound patients only. There is a strict home visit policy in place. Contact the reception team and your details will be passed onto the triage team.
All home visit requests have to be made to the surgery before 11am. After this time it may not be possible for us to do any home visits.
Difficulty in obtaining transport facilities to the practice is generally not considered a reason for requesting a home visit.
In the time it takes a doctor to do a home visit we can usually see 3 - 6 patients in the surgery. Please consider this before requesting a home visit.
We certainly do not do any home visits for children as they can usually be bought to the surgery.
